İpek Bulduk is a seasoned educational leader who has extensive national and international experience facilitating curriculum integration and alignments across departments, and has provided instructional leadership in the area of student assessment for 21 years. After being awarded a one-year Fulbright Fellowship as an exchange teacher in 2004 at Vashon High School, Seattle, Washington, she received her M.A in Educational Management and Inspection in 2006.
For her second Fulbright Grant project, she had the opportunity to complete an extensive and in depth exploration of English Language Learning which culminated in a presentation of her findings entitled “Differentiating Instruction in a High Stakes English Language Learning Environment” at various international ELL conferences. The presentation examined the issues that affect ELL instruction, curriculum and student achievement within urban Washington schools.
İpek Bulduk served as the Instructional Support Team Manager at Kent School District, Kent, Washington where she provided guidance and direction to entire City of Kent K-12 teaching faculty concerning the analysis and planning of instruction, based on student achievement data, and in designing and implementing curricula and instructional programs.
İpek Bulduk also performed as the Director of Education and Assistant General Manager at K-12 Schools for six years. During her assignment, she supervised 3500 plus teachers and administrators within 157 schools. She has coordinated comprehensive in-service training for teachers and participated in various international conferences and research forums as Session Chair, Keynote Speaker and Conference Presenter.
